Gentle souls: hold them close.

It’s surprising how ugly it gets out there. Finding genuinely good people is not that easy, unfortunately. But when we do, we should keep them close, allow them to be our armour, make them part of our team and lose all those who are “not such gentle souls.”

The fear of letting go.

The attachments we form throughout our lives are hard to sever. Some we must keep, some we must let go of, but try as we might we can’t, at least emotionally. Letting go of someone is loss, and loss is one of the most difficult tasks our brain doesn’t seem very well equipped to handle.
