Simply breathing.

Sometimes the only answer I have when someone asks me how I’m doing is simply; “Breathing,” because this is how it feels and it’s OK. Not only does this cut the conversation short, but explains more than 100 words can. Everyone understands all too well in their own way this answer.

“Breathing” doesn’t mean we are down and out, it may mean we are simply taking things in stride, slowly recovering, or contemplating our next move. We may even be taking in a beautiful moment, or waiting patiently for it.

When you cannot put how you feel into words or don’t want to elaborate, a simple “Breathing,” will explain.
