In the darkest hours CC by Chez Andre1
There is always something or someone who can light up even the darkest hours of our existence. If I’ve learnt something, it’s that you cannot compare grief or lessen its importance trying to get someone to see how other people have it worse. You can’t belittle anyone’s pain. It just is. It’s a personal experience, which must be felt and dealt with as best one can. But, no matter how bad it is, something happens or someone without even meaning to, comes to the rescue.
That rescue, if you allow yourself to see it, may come, as a text, a gift, a letter or an e-mail that steals some of the pain away, and reminds you how much good there is in life. And better yet; how “you are not alone.”
