As I go through last year’s credit card statement to figure out my write-offs, not very romantic, I’m amazed at how long ago it all seems. Those trips, coffees, dinners, and hotels appear to have happened longer ago. My life seems to have switched gears and the slowness of time I felt as a kid has turned into a reckless high-speed drive. Not exactly a joy ride though. Nonetheless, time seems to speed with age.
As we age, time is of greater value. The things we do, the friendships we make and time we spend is much more important. There is an urgency to make things mater and count.
The time is NOW. Make every minute important because it instantly turns into yesterday and you don’t want to regret wasting your precious time.
“A man who dares to waste one hour of time has not discovered the value of life.”
