Life is an empty canvas we paint as we go. Some of us are better painters than others, yet we still have to get on with the picture. We choose the landscape to set the images, the colors, the storms, the wreckage. We can improve the picture or just let it be and settle.
Some think that we are not the painters, that the paint splatters on the canvas and we have no control over it. But we do. We can sit and think how to paint over those splatters, how to turn those splatters into a beautiful picture, or choose to just leave the picture as-is and do nothing to change it, then cry and complain over the result.
If you don’t like how the picture is turning out you can paint over it. Start over with an empty canvas and create the picture you imagined. It might not be exactly what you had in mind, but you can certainly create something that is close to the reality you hope for.
Play with the colors, change them and enjoy the possibilities of new landscapes. Be adventurous and bold. Once more, you have little to lose, at the end of the day it’s your life, your very own canvas.
