There’s no doubt in my mind when I land in Spain that my heart skips a beat and I feel right at home. Landing today in Madrid reminded me where my heart belongs. Home will always be here and the Bay Area my satellite home. I have my heart with my kids and friends in the Bay, but ultimately nothing holds my heart so dearly as where I grew up.
I don’t know what the future holds, but for now, I always gravitate here. As my friend told me,”You go back to those places where you feel protected, happy and loved.” This is my place. My happy place where I know I belong.
If you’re so lucky to be home all the time, enjoy it and be grateful.

Welcome home.

How well expressed!!!
Yes, I am one of the lucky ones too! Madrid and other big cities are being uniformed so quickly, thought, that many of the magic corners it used to house are already condemned to remain only in our memories.
