He is a good man. Honest, charming, highly intelligent and gifted. I’m happy to have shared a life with him. As we let go now, I only wish him well because I do love him. He was an important part of my life, which I don’t wish to tarnish. Endings are important and ours is a good one.

Our road trip was good and now it’s time, as we finalize the divorce details, to begin our respective road trips separately. Now, I admire him more than ever. It may take this shattering experience to see what relationships cloud.

Life is too short to not fight to end things well. We all deserve a good ending. We all deserve to be happy.
