We develop courage as we age but often we allow our fear of failure to override what we really would love to do. If we honestly answer the question: What is stopping you? I’m sure you can come up with a million excuses, just like myself. Most of the time we are the ones who set up the barriers.
But what’s the worst that could happen if we just tried? Who is judging us and what do we care? Why should we allow our fear to stop us? We can ignore the “fears” that are deeply ingrained in our brains and act as if we have all the courage we need in order to follow our dream.
At least let’s give it a try. Let’s not look back and regret the things we could have done with a bit of courage. That, in itself, is failure, the failure to live.
Live and do that which you think you can’t do. You’ll be surprised to find that you actually can! The satisfaction of at least giving it a try will encourage you to be even more daring.
